MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the physician practices is.  to provide the highest quality healthcare for adults with gastrointestinal diseases in the greater Panhandle of Texas area. It is the intent of Drs. Trehan and Pathapati to conduct their business in an honest and ethical manner, and to  make every effort to insure compliance with applicable Federal and State laws.

OFFICE VISIT
Office hours 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.  Our physicians work mostly through other physician referrals; appointments are scheduled as soon as possible based on current medical needs or problems.  Once the appointment has been scheduled, the patient may download patient information and medical history forms by clicking here in order to save time before the visit.   These forms may either be completed online or printed and completed by hand prior to the office visit.  If completed online they must be printed after completion and brought into the office for the visit.  Whether these forms are completed online prior to the office visit or not, the individual should arrive approximately fifteen to 20 minutes early for the appointment.

INSURANCE
Our physicians accept assignment for Medicare patients and participate in a great number of managed care insurance companies. For your convenience and ours, if you are covered by insurance, please inform the receptionist and be prepared to present your insurance card at the time of your visit

The patient is responsible for co-payments at time of service and deductibles as well as their percentage after the insurance company’s has taken care of their part. 
We will file your insurance claims for services. As an added courtesy, we will also file your secondary or supplemental insurance claims. Rest assured that a billing clerk will be available for any insurance questions you may have.

Our physicians participate in a great number of managed care insurance companies. For your convenience and ours, if you are covered by insurance, please inform the receptionist and be prepared to present your insurance card at the time of your visit. 

TELEPHONE CALLS
The doctor-patient relationship is a private one. For this reason, we do not provide information to others about our patients without their prior consent. We receive a large number of calls everyday and it is impossible for the doctor to personally talk to each patient; however there are highly skilled nurses available who are well trained to take calls and answer questions as well.

For questions regarding fees or billing, calls will be directed to our billing department. All questions regarding medical issues, call will be directed to a nurse who will speak with you or return your call as soon as possible.

Medications or refills should be directed to your pharmacy, who will fax our office a refill prescription during regular office hours.  Our staff will do their best to provide your prescription or refill in a timely manner.
